Presidential Normalcy

Mitt Romney with his grandson, Miles.
I have been reveling in many small American pleasures since my arrival in Philadelphia from London:  Mexican food, American snack food, hulu, and watching presidential debates live instead of on Youtube the next day.

I can't help but wonder if seeing Mitt Romney and John Huntsman so very frequently does not challenge misperceptions about those who belong to my faith.  Both are the most moderate of all Republican candidates thus far, and it seems to me it would be difficult to watch them in the debates for so many hours or see pictures like that above (taken by my cousin, Mary, the mother of the adorable little boy) and yet believe they are extremists.

Any thoughts out there by my friends of other/no faiths?
