Unprocessed Sales

“Unprocessed Sales” are made up of newly acquired pieces that are offered before they have gone through our usual preparation process. In most cases, that means the garments have not yet been washed, mended, steamed, or fully organized. These sales give customers first access to the newest finds at a reduced rate before they are added to the regular collection.

Because these pieces are still unprocessed, there may occasionally be small flaws, stains, or repair needs that have not yet been discovered. For that reason, the price of unprocessed items is typically lower than it normally would be.

If an issue is found while preparing an order for shipment, customers will always be contacted and given options. Depending on the piece, we may offer to repair the item before shipping, hold the order until repairs are complete, or provide an additional discount for customers who are comfortable handling small repairs themselves.

For many collectors, unprocessed sales are one of the most enjoyable ways to shop vintage—partly because there is a little mystery involved, but mostly because they offer early access to special pieces before anyone else sees them.
